Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using SEO Autopilot. By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using SEO Autopilot ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not install or use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SEO Autopilot ("we", "us", or "our").

2. Shopify App Store Terms

SEO Autopilot is distributed through the Shopify App Store. By using the App, you also agree to Shopify's Terms of Service and Partner Program Agreement. In the event of conflict between these Terms and Shopify's terms, Shopify's terms govern with respect to the Shopify platform.

3. Service Description

SEO Autopilot provides: • Automated SEO auditing of Shopify store content • AI-generated meta titles, meta descriptions, and image alt text using the Anthropic Claude API • JSON-LD structured data generation • Broken link detection • Weekly SEO performance reports We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the App at any time with reasonable notice.

4. Subscription and Billing

The App offers the following plans: Free — $0/month: Limited to 50 products, basic audit and manual optimization. Pro — $49/month or $399/year: Unlimited products, AI optimization, full feature access. Premium — $99/month or $799/year: Everything in Pro plus broken link detection, white-label reports, API access, and priority support. All paid subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. Billing is managed through Shopify's in-app purchase system. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the App's source code • Abuse the AI generation features (e.g., generating spam content at scale) • Circumvent any usage limits or access controls • Resell or sublicense access to the App without our written consent

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its code, design, and content, is owned by SEO Autopilot and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. AI-generated content (meta titles, descriptions, alt text) produced for your store is owned by you upon generation. You grant us a limited license to access your store data solely to provide the services described in these Terms.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that: • The App will be uninterrupted or error-free • AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific use case • Use of the App will improve your search engine rankings (SEO results depend on many factors outside our control)

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SEO AUTOPILOT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify store. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections 6, 7, 8, and 9 survive termination.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
