SEO Autopilot ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you install and use our Shopify application.
1. Information We Collect
When you install SEO Autopilot, we collect: • Your Shopify shop domain and store name • Product, collection, page, and blog post data (titles, descriptions, meta fields, images) — solely to perform SEO analysis and optimization • Session tokens issued by Shopify for authentication • Usage data (which features you use) to improve the service
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data exclusively to: • Perform SEO audits on your store content • Generate AI-powered meta titles, descriptions, and alt text via the Anthropic Claude API • Produce weekly SEO reports and score tracking • Maintain your account and subscription We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Third-Party Services
SEO Autopilot integrates with: • Shopify — your store data is accessed via Shopify's Admin API under the scopes you authorize • Anthropic (Claude AI) — product and page content is sent to Anthropic's API to generate SEO suggestions. Anthropic does not train on API data. See https://www.anthropic.com/privacy • Vercel — our hosting provider, used to serve the application • Turso / PlanetScale — database hosting for storing audit results and reports
4. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as you have the app installed. When you uninstall SEO Autopilot: • All shop data, audit results, and optimization logs are permanently deleted within 30 days • You may also request immediate deletion by contacting us at contact@assistreview.com
5. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
You have the right to: • Access the personal data we hold about you • Request correction of inaccurate data • Request deletion of your data (right to erasure) • Object to or restrict certain processing • Data portability To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@assistreview.com. We will respond within 30 days.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), secure credential storage, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we take all reasonable precautions.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
